Mission

Change of Heart Fitness Services inspires change for a healthier heart! Our mission is to close the gap between healthcare services for a healthier community.


Following discharge from hospital after a recent cardiac event to living life independently at home, we will empower you to initiate fitness for heart health and improve management of other chronic health conditions. 


We provide exercise guidance and cardiac rehabilitation training to make fitness a healthy lifestyle change, in a safe and sustainable way. 

Experience

Brea Corbet is a Registered Kinesiologist and regulated health professional with twenty years of experience working in cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention. As an ACSM Certified Exercise Specialist (CES) and CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP), she is skilled in hospital based and community programming to optimize cardiac health recovery and outcomes. 


Brea is committed to helping individuals change their life from surviving a cardiac event to thriving with heart!

What sets our hearts on fire is to help you realize your potential and keep you accountable to your goals! According to the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance and Conference Board of Canada "If we were to decrease the number of inactive Canadians by even 10%, we'd see a 30% reduction in all-cause mortality and major savings in healthcare. It is estimated that more than 2.4 Billion or 3.7% of all healthcare costs are attributed to the direct cost of treating illness and disease due to physical inactivity."
