Walking can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and is effective treatment for chronic conditions. Walking is one of the safest and most enjoyable modes of exercise. The benefits of walking include lower blood pressure, improved cholesterol, diabetes management and weight loss with a change in fitness. Regular aerobic exercise also helps adults maintain independence, improve cognitive health, balance, mobility and reduces the effects of arthritis.

This program is suitable for beginners of all ages. Also appropriate for those wanting to maintain consistent exercise in a structured group format.
